Ranchi/London: Renowned Indian neurosurgeon and Director & CEO of Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Ranchi, Prof. (Dr.) Rajkumar has achieved yet another milestone at the global level. He was recently honoured by the British Parliament (House of Commons, London) during the international event organized by the Commonwealth Medical Association.
The award was presented by Honourable Member of the UK Parliament and Minister Seema Malhotra. The ceremony witnessed the presence of medical scientists, representatives, and senior officials from 56 Commonwealth nations.
Dr. Rajkumar was conferred the honour for his groundbreaking innovations, research, and exemplary contributions in the field of Pediatric Neurosurgery in India. He has played a pivotal role in establishing the Neurological Surgeons Society of India and has been instrumental in advancing surgical techniques that have saved countless lives.
This is not the first time Dr. Rajkumar’s work has been acknowledged. He has previously been honoured in India with the title of ‘Modern Jivak’, a recognition given for his compassionate service, dedicated research, and impeccable contributions to the medical field.
